Dial A View is a 1-man publishing studio/press, founded july 1st, 2021. The studio focuses onto publishing and/or designing small edition art books for (young) local artists, or exhibition catalogues for local events. I felt that I needed this small practise on the side of my main activity as a production and sales manager at die Keure printing house. To experience the joy of designing again, working 1 on 1 with artists or project groups. The request from an artist friend to do a book on his works, gave the necessary extra push to get the press rolling.
I got the name for the studio/press from a song of one of my favourite music bands, Grandaddy. You can listen to the song here:
